How to Locate Your Hotsync ID, Owner Name, or Device PIN:

When you purchase a product from WakefieldSoft, LLC, we provide you with a personal registration code to unlock the trial version. This registration code is only valid for the product you purchased.

In order to generate the correct registration code, you will be asked to submit your Hotsync ID (for Palm OS users), your Owner Name (for Windows Mobile users), or your Device PIN (for Blackberry users). Your hotsync ID or Owner Name is NOT your handheld serial number, and it is often similar to your name. For Palm OS handhelds it is chosen when the handheld unit was initially setup. For Windows Mobile users, it is entered in the Owner Information screen under Settings. For Blackberry handheld users, the device PIN is set by the manufacturer when the handheld is assembled.

Palm OS® Users - Hotsync ID:

Please use these images as a guide to determine your hotsync ID. The left image shows a typical startup registration screen for one of our products. The right image shows the hotsync screen which is displayed after tapping the hotsync icon on your handheld. Please submit exactly what is shown. The hotsync ID is case sensitive, and we need to know what is uppercase, lowercase, and any punctuation, just as it is shown on your handheld.

Pocket PC or Windows Mobile Users - Owner Name:

Please use these images as a guide to determine your Owner Name. The left image shows a typical registration screen for one of our products. The right image shows the Today screen which is displayed when tapping the Start icon, then Today. Please submit exactly what is shown. The Owner Name is case sensitive, and we need to know what is uppercase, lowercase, and any punctuation, just as it is shown on your handheld.

Blackberry Users - Device PIN:

Please use these images as a guide to determine your Device PIN. The left image shows a typical About screen for one of our products. The right images shows the Options and Status screens. Please submit exactly what is shown. The Device PIN is case sensitive, and we need to know the exact numbers and letters, just as it is shown on your handheld.

Submitting your hotsync ID, Owner Name, or Device PIN:

If you have already purchased a product, and you get a message about the hotsync ID, Owner Name, or Device PIN and registration code not matching when you enter the registration code provided, then please email or fill out this form with your correct hotsync ID, Owner Name, or Device PIN, product purchased, and purchase date. We will generate the correct code and send it to you.

This applies to new users who submitted an incorrect hotsync ID, Owner Name, or Device PIN. Existing users who change devices will need to maintain the same hotsync ID or Owner Name in order for the code provided to work on the new device. If you change devices, and change hotsync IDs or Owner Names, and a newer version is available, you will need to upgrade to the latest version in order to get a new code. Thanks.
