It would be really great if along with the ability to use aisles on the ingredient list to also have a place for estimated/last paid price. and then the ability to total the amount at the bottom to give a rough estimate of how much it money to bring and also to help budget planning.
another great feature would be if selected ingredients would automatically total if they apear in more then one recipe
for instance instead of
1/2 lb ground beef
1/4 lg ground beef
you end up with
3/4 lb ground beef.
beyond that the ability to smart paste nutrition facts would be really nice and
a place to put ratings, ie 1 star to 5 star to indicate how much it was liked or not.
also a seperate section where you could attach seasons for instance summer with out using up a catagory would be excellent as many ingredients are seasonal.
also meal selections like breakfast lunch snack supper.
also a place to put cook time prep time.
with these there would be no software that even comes close to the functionality of this one.
any how I love this program I have thousands of recipes now and it has saved me lots of time. I now only cook a recipe once a year so I have marked the recipe of the day in my calendar and generate menus and shopping lists 1 week at a time. Lots of fun but it would have been too much work to plan all that out manually.
