A common question we get is "How do I export the shopping list from PDACookbook to SplashShopper?".

It can be done, but it must be done through the SplashShopper desktop. This is a SplashShopper restriction.

Here is a link to the SplashShopper user guide that expains how:
http://www.splashdata.com/splashshopper/userguide/index.html#import

Also, we have cut and pasted their instructions here, just in case the above link does not work:

....To import a PDA Cookbook text file, create a HandyShopper MemoPad Export file using the instructions provided with PDA Cookbook. Then synchronize with the desktop so the MemoPad file is copied to the desktop. Then, copy the text from the MemoPad file on the desktop and paste it into a new Text file. Last, import the Text file by selecting Import/PDA Cookbook TXT from the File Menu in SplashShopper Desktop...... (From the SplashShopper user guide)

More detailed instructions:
1. Create your shopping list

On the handheld:
2. Start PDACookbook
3. Tap the Shop button to view the shopping list
4. Tap the menu silkscreen icon to the left of the graffiti area
5. Select 'Export Shopping List to Memo' from the File menu
6. Select Yes on the message box
7. Wait for the confirmation to be displayed
8. Hotsync the handheld to your PC

On the PC:
9. Start the Palm Desktop software
10. The shopping list memo will be displayed after syncing
11. Start Notepad
12. Copy the shopping list memo text and paste it into Notepad
13. Save the Notepad file to your PC with the desired filename (i.e. shoplist.txt)
14. Start the SplashShopper desktop
15. Select the File... Import... PDA Cookbook TXT from the menu
16. Select the filename that was just saved above (i.e. shoplist.txt)
