Multiple Locations

We are considering using DoInventory to track our Rescue Squad's medical supplies. The beta version includes many of the features we require (like low stock alerts, photos, etc).

There is one feature that would be very helpful... the ability to track items that are in multiple locations (like Bulk Storage, and Ready Spares).

We would be able to see how many are in each location, but also have a total number on hand in all locations.

Any chance of seeing this feature in DoInventory in the near future?

You could enter the item twice, then have different locations. The database does not allow 2 locations and 2 Qty values for one item at this time.

just curious, but how do you have your technicians post parts out of inventory and to a paticular job/patient/whatever, so that you show material cost to that "job", trip the function to remind to re-orer and whatnot?
