We have purchased DoInventory to use for hardware tracking with a Symbol 1846. We have been able to transfer data to and from the handheld to the PC and then export this to an Access database which holds purchase details and user information.
The assets we want to track have barcodes (code 3 of 9) but the trouble we are having is that the scanned barcode in the find field will not bring up the record for the item, but writing the number in lowercase will (Uppercase doesn't).
Is this at all possible, or is this a pipe dream?
