Transfer bookBag db files from one computer to another

Hello -

I am the support tech for a library in SW Lower Michigan.

I have a Librarian who uses BookBag. We needed to move him to another computer, and we saved the database files(cdb and pdb) from his old computer.

How do we get BookBag to recognize these files. Whenever I move them to where I think they should go, I just get the default(Gone with the wind) data.

The location of the databases on the old computer is specified in the DataPath= line of the bookbagplus.ini file. They may or may not be the ones in the C:\Program Files\BookBag folder.

The best way to backup the data is to use the File / Backup menu command in BookBag on the old computer.

You can then restore with the File / Restore menu command on the new computer's copy of BookBag.
