error code 3001 when trying to save

I've been getting this error code "arguements are of wrong type......" error code 3001 since I have had PDA cookbook. I downloaded the new 4.0 in hopes that this problem would be solved but it just happened to me with a few of my files in the new version as well. What does this error code mean and what am I doing wrong?
