Hi,

I use the desktop/Palm version of PDACookbook. I recently got a new computer to replace my old one. I installed PDACookbook on the computer, but I can't get it to synch with the recipes that are already on the Palm.

I've tried reinstalling it a few more times, with no success. I am installing the full version, but for some reason during the import process it doesn't ask me anything about installing anything on the Palm. (I also tried doing an upgrade, but still no luck.)

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jamie

See this link to our FAQ for info on installing to a new PC:

Towards the bottom of the FAQ is a topic about hotsync issues that you might want to read as well.

If none of that helps, let us know.

I'm having the same problem. I've tried all the suggested steps in FAQ and the forum. As far as I can tell, HotSync isn't even recognizing that I have PDACookbook Plus on my new computer. My old recipes are still on my handheld only. What am I missing?
I did the full install and then an update-only install trying to get it to go.

When you run the full installer, you will need to select the Palm & PC install option, not the PC only install option. The Palm & PC install option will install the hotsync conduit for PDACookbook.
