I am new to this software and have been unable to find any assistance in the provided help materials. I have two questions: (1) How does one view the entire recipe title on a PDA (Palm) when it is longer than the provided space? The titles are truncated.
(2) What is the easiest way to import recipes from non-standard recipe formats supported here, such as recipes found at epicurious.com (other than Smart Ingredient Paste)? I have little experience in CV formatting. Any assistance (or pointing me thereto) is greatly appreciated.

As for long titles, it is tough to handhle on the PDA side, due to the small screen size. Is the main issue in the list of recipes, or once you are viewing a certain recipe, that you see the problem? I will make a note of this on our suggestion list.
The smart ingredient paste was made especially for non-standard recipe formats. That is the only way to import those quickly, although it is a manual operation. If you have existing software with recipes in it, it may be able to export in a standard format. From the web, the smart ingredient paste will be the way to go.
Thanks.

Thank you for the prompt response.
Concerning the long title: While I understand the size restriction both in the main recipe window as well as the individual recipe, I had hoped that there was some way to scroll for the entire title or, for that matter, the ingredients lines. The entire recipe title has be kept - I just can't see the entire line. Just a suggestion.
As to the importation of recipes, I was hoping there might be some further explanation or tutorial available to show how a recipe must be structured to conform to the CVS formatting.
Again, thank you for your assistance.

I have added the long title issue to our suggestion list. Maybe we can address this in a future version.
As for CSV files, the fields can be in whatever order you like, as you can specify the order when importing. Any field value that has a comma in it, needs to be inside quotes ("text, here"). The ingredients can be in separate fields, separated by commas.
So, it might look like this...
RecipeTitle1,Category1,Category2,Ingredient1,Ingr2 ,Ingr3,Ingr4
RecipeTitle2,Category1,Category2,Ingredient1,Ingr2 ,Ingr3,Ingr4
etc.
One recipe per line.
Hope that helps.
