I just posted South Beach - Phase One (http://www.wakefieldsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=299) recipes in the forum and I was just wondering if anyone else have any recipes to share?

I know that there are some links to recipes on this page (http://www.wakefieldsoft.com/pdacookbook/recipes.html), but I'd prefer to get recipes from other users who are using the same program.

So, have any you'd like to share? :D

677 including your South Beach and many other South Beach recipes that I slaved over entering into the machine last winter. I have lots from Epicurious, Food and Wine, and anything else that strikes my fancy. What's the best format to export them for you? How do I post them on this site?

I've posted the following recipes over the past year:

[Recipe] South Beach Diet Cookbook - Breakfasts (http://www.wakefieldsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=434)

[Recipe] South Beach Diet - Phase One (http://www.wakefieldsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=299)

[Recipe] South Beach Diet - Phase Two (http://www.wakefieldsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=304)

[Recipe] South Beach Diet - Phase Three (http://www.wakefieldsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=431)

For each of these posts, I did the following:

1. In the PDACookbook Desktop client, I used a filter to display only the recipes related to that group. For example, only Phase One recipes.

2. I then exported the recipes in MasterCook format. This creates a text file on your computer.

3. The last step is to simply create a new thread and attach the file to the post.

That's all there is to it really. :)

Looking forward to your recipes! :p

Ok, here are a bunch.

My South Beach recipes all start with SB to keep them separate, so you may want to edit the file and replace "SB " with "". Also my category names are slightly different from yours, so you may want to replace those too. We also have many duplicates, but they're easy to spot since the software adds a #2 after the title once you've imported. I also made side dishes like Steamed Asparagus into a recipe so it could go into a menu and into a shopping list. South Beach stuff is from the books, website, and some forums.

All the other recipes come from epicurious.com, foodtv.com, and anything else that struck me. Sometimes I just hit and ran, so I didn't even format the recipe properly and the whole thing is in the Instructions section.

Enjoy!

Diana
