I started the South Beach Diet (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?tag=mashbycom-20&path=tg/detail/-/1579549586/qid%3D1075605365/) this week and I'm sticking to the meal plan to a "T". To help me with this, it was only natural that I input all the recipes into PDACookbook Plus. Since it was such a PITA, and thanks to Shawn's help (http://www.wakefieldsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=296), I thought I'd share my effort with other owners of this great program. :)

I'm through the first week of the diet and I've lost approximately 7lbs, mostly in my mid-section. What's even better is that I'm eating some of the healthiest food I've ever eaten in my life. It hardly seems like a diet - it's just a better way of eating in my book.

Attached to this post are all 54 recipes from the South Beach Diet book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?tag=mashbycom-20&path=tg/detail/-/1579549586/qid%3D1075605365/) in MasterCook format. I have included all notes, nutrition information, servings, as well as a new category - "South Beach - Phase One".

Installation Instructions
=====================
1. Download the file listed at the bottom of this post. It may work best if you right-click on the link and choose "Save target as". Save it in a location where you will be able to find it easily, like your Desktop.

2. In PDACookbook Plus, choose "File\Import Recipes"

3. Press the "Select File" button and browse to where you saved the file you downloaded.

4. When you've found the file, select "Open" and you'll be brought back to the Import Recipe pop-up window.

5. Press the "Import" button and all the recipes will be imported into PDACookbook Plus.

6. Perform a HotSync and all the recipes will be transferred to your Palm OS device as well.

I tried to be careful, but if you see any errors that I've made in the recipes, such as typos and what not, please let me know by posting a reply in this thread.

Update: I've posted the Phase Two recipes at this link (http://www.wakefieldsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=304).

I have been dieting and working out since beginning of this year and had lost almost 10 pounds. I get sick, not eating so well for the last few days and no workouts and now I have gained 5 lbs. Can you tell me the reason of gaining over half of the weight back? I want anyone with dieting help. Are there any help regarding my problem?
