Fully restored classic car!
Frame removed, disassembled, stripped, prepped, refinished. All rubber gaskets, bushings, motor mounts, ball joints, tie rod ends replaced, leaf springs rebuilt. Body removed from frame, disassembled, all parts removed, stripped, prepped, refinished.
All weatherstrip replaced, complete new interior, window channel, rubber parts replaced. New tempered side glass. All bumpers and chrome parts polished and/or rechromed, all stainless steel polished.
Authentic 6V to 12V conversion, new starter, rebuilt generator to 12V, 12V wiper motor installed, 12V heater blower, 12V bulbs, Ford NOS resisters for remainder of gauges. Completely new wiring harness.
Engine and transmission pulled, cleaned and inspected. New freeze plugs, water pump, oil pump, all new gaskets and seals, compression within spec, rebuilt carb, runs great. New flywheel ring gear, clutch and pressure plate replaced. All new universal joints, rebuilt wheel bearings.
Three speed manual with electric overdrive. Original 4:11 rear end. Repainted to correct colors for 1955: Torch Red and Snowshoe White, Dupont Centari acrylic enamel, color sanded and buffed out.
Always garage kept and covered since it was restored. Rarely sees sunlight or rain. As nice as any Fairlane I have seen. It definitely turns heads. This car has been owned by either my father or myself for the last 41 years! Winner of numerous trophies at area car shows.
Includes original wheel covers and fender skirts (not used, but included)
